Our hair go through a lot of wear and tear on a daily basis and thus deserve some love and pampering at the end of the day. Oils act as a moisturizing agent and help keep the hair soft and shiny and at the same time is great food for your hair. The best time to apply a hair oil is at night before you go to sleep. You can choose any oil of your choice the most preferred ones being coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil and sesame oil. Depending on the length of the length of your hair, pour out the oil in a bowl and warm it up either on a stovetop or in a microwave. Massage your scalp with this warm oil for few minutes gently. Tie your hair up in a bun or ponytail and go to sleep. By oiling your hair at night you give the oil enough time to get absorbed by the roots as well as repair the shaft. Next morning shampoo your hair and you have the most luscious, shiny and soft hair.
